After our meeting I will send you a proposal document with a contract, invoice, and payment link if you choose to book your event date with me! I allow one week from the meeting date for you to sign your contract and send over a 30% non- refundable retainer fee to reserve your date in my calendar (weddings only- every other shoot requires a 50% retainer fee). After a signed contract and retainer payment have been received, your event is officially in my calendar!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am based in Los Angeles, CA and most of my clients are based in the Southern California area but I will go anywhere!

  • I take a photojournalist approach to my photography with timeless imagery full of vibrance, color, depth, and grain. I edit true to color. My goal is to capture the authentic atmosphere of how your day unfolds. 

  • I am a hybrid photographer shooting on both digital and analog mediums. If you want film only, make a note in your inquiry. 

  • For weddings you can expect sneak peeks within a week after your wedding day and your full gallery delivered within about 8-10 weeks of your wedding date depending on how lengthy the editing que is. For everything else, you will receive photos within 4-6 weeks.

  • I require all my clients to put down a non-refundable retainer fee in order book a spot on my calendar. For weddings I require 30% of total cost, and for engagements/couples I require 50% of total cost. Unfortunately once you pay your retainer deposit it is non-refundable. However, you can use that credit towards a new date if your event is cancelled or postponed. 

  • A second shooter is another photographer who assists the main photographer with coverage throughout the day. Sometimes a second isn’t needed! If you are planning on having a bigger wedding of 125+ then a second photographer is a great addition to your wedding day. Seconds are great for when I need to be in two places at once…but obviously can’t (if I could I would). For example, you are getting ready while your partner is in another room getting ready yet you both want photography coverage of both situations simultaneously. I’ll usually stay with one room while the second is sent to the other. There are many other moments throughout the day that are great for seconds. If you are NOT planning on having a first look, I do require for you to add a second shooter to your final invoice. An aisle first look needs to have 2 photographers so we can capture you and your partners’ first reactions to seeing each other. You do not need to look for a second shooter! I have a list of talented photographers I work with many times a year who will fulfill that spot. Every photo they take is carefully edited by me and seamlessly integrated into your full wedding gallery.

  • I take around 16-24 wedding clients a year. I want to be able to give as much of my time and energy to clients without feeling overwhelmed and overbooked. I recommend inquiring a year in advance for your wedding date before my year fills up! 

  • Yes! All of my packages are customizable. The wedding package prices are just starting blocks. I send all potential clients my pricing guide after you inquire. If you want to add anything such as additional hours, additional days, film, or assistant photographers, let me know and I will specifically tailor your package to your needs! 

  • I have a list of many vendor recommendations that I would be happy to share! Send me a email with your exact needs. 

  • I have travel dates that I will release every year- if you are near that area in that same time frame then all travel fees will be waved!

    If I am not in that area for your specified date; then I require for clients to pay for transportation (flights, or mileage), and a two night stay in a hotel nearby designated venue (if venue is outside of a 2 1/2 hr radius from Valley Village, LA). 

  • No! I still do portraiture/lifestyle/press photos but only take a small amount of those gigs a year. Click here to see more of that work/info

  • I offer 20% off for any previous wedding clients of mine for any non-wedding related shoots for LIFE. (yes you heard that correctly).
